Card of the Week for September 23, 2018 – The Knave (Page) of Swords
Last week we focused on letting go of our pain. Now that the swords are out of our heart, we can think more clearly about the world around us. Sure enough the Page of Swords makes an appearance. I see someone looking out towards the future with a calm yet cautious look. They hold their sword yet keep it close to their chest; a sign that their ideas are still percolating and they are not yet ready to take action.
We went from feeling to thinking (though it’s not yet time to start doing!). When combined with the card of the month (Seven of Cups reversed), I get the impression that the Page is telling you ask questions and dig deeper. You can cut through the illusions and unrealistic expectations by asking some critical questions. Also, don’t keep your thoughts to yourself. There’s the temptation to not openly share your thoughts out of the fear of appearing “wrong”. However, as someone who is exploring and developing yourself, you need to also question your own thought processes.
